Bunwood is a group of three all Thai companies comprising of Bangkok Veneer, 3N Industries, and 3N Marketing first established in 1974 . We are committed to research and development of better and new breeds of flooring for the hardwood flooring industry.

Our goal at Bunwood is to create sustainable and natural hardwood flooring industry. With our unique patented process we can take this concept beyond the drawing board and apply it to real world.

The manufacture of hardwood flooring as we know it today requires an enormous amount of energy and materials. It takes 6 operations (saw mill, drying plant, plywood factory, board plant, veneer factory, and the traditional wood flooring factory) to convert trees into hardwood flooring. Each operation requires, enormous amounts of energy, materials and manpower. At Bunwood we have replaced these 6 operations with our unique patented process. We have reduced the amount of materials, manpower, and waste while manufacturing substantially improved hardwood flooring to better serve the consumers.

Bunwood flooring is not only superior to conventional wood flooring it is also ecologically sound. Our hardwood flooring is manufactured directly and only from plantation trees with only little waste by combining two plants, manly, exclusive slat production plant and exclusive stress releasing plant.

The concept is simple, "Bunwood produces more from less to get the best."

Simplicity as we recognizie it can play important roles along with the new technological breakthroughs being introduced everyday in our society. Simple and down-to-earth inventions, the assembly line convoyer of Henry Ford, the disposable safety razor blade of King Camp Gillette and a countless number of the like do have significant roles in the betterment of our living to some degree.

Should my simple reinvention in some way lead to or make the slightest contribution towards the improvement of our lifestyle in the new Millennium 2000, I would like to humbly share it with you.

"Thai Invention. American Patent."
